I am currently growing some. I have read that they don't taste great although they are used quite a bit sliced up and served in Asian cuisine. If they are terrible, then won't be growing again. Everything is worth a shot once
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

And another for first year and never again...they are ok when really very small, but a faff to pick and turn stringy overnight. The flowers are pretty though.

              Oi you lot!...they are lovely!
You just need to pick them daily at about 1" long.
Put them in the fridge until you have a small handful , then steam them and roll in butter.
Any larger than that and they get very very stringy
This is deffo a case of smaller is better
