    Hey you two!

You are as old as you feel, and must admit of late I feel older than I should do!

    Right!

    First tank out!

This will be Doctored with a lid and will be the Fish tank for the whole concept to work!

Not guna be a massive set up but have a secondary tub the same size as a grow bed

Still early doors and still I haven't got a clue what I'm doing, but fun doing and trying to get my head around it!

^I wondered that and had a look. These systems seem to use solid sided tanks. I guess light comes from above, as in a natural environment.

I know someone who did it but can't remember what type of fish he used. In the end he wasn't all that impressed when it came to eat them. It was a really big set up and he gave up when he moved house. The things he grew (including chillies) were OK but I wouldn't say any better than terrestrial grown, and it seemed like a huge amount of effort; frequent maintenance. Yes, it's a nice idea but it turned out not to be quite as self-sustaining and labour-free as you'd think.

    Edit: They were Nile Tilapia.
