I would agree but the peach ones I only just bought! I don't mind a no show if I've had them opened for a year or two. There's plenty of time though..just wish I'd started Jan now

That's annoying. Where did you buy them from?

OK...1 out of 8 Marconi seeds has germinated. The rest have still done nothing. Basques all still a no show (should probably have saved some last year, oops). Any that haven't germinated are on moist kitchen roll in a freezer bag now, last roll of the dice.

    Default Question about Monkey Face

Question about Monkey Face, to Norfolkgrey and anyone else who has grown it:

I've seen it listed on some websites as an annuum and others as a chinense. From its growth habit, flowers etc., which would you say it is? I may have left it a bit late to sow if it's a chinense. Oh well, can't be helped - I can't wind back the clock now.

I haven't grown it but only premier seeds direct has it labeled as a chinense, every other seller seems to have it labeled as an annum. I think you'll be fine. They are fresh seed too which makes a huge difference to bought seed that's been packed for a year or two.

It certainly does - a couple of the seeds are already starting to sprout their radicles only 3 days from sowing. Very impressive.
