I make no pretence of being able to construct wooden beds so mine are mostly bought pre-made.

The bed on the left is a double height plastic one 1m x 0.5m, on the right I've cobbled together a couple of drip trays and a blowaway greenhouse, but its rapidly falling apart at the edges like most of my DIY.

These are both double height plastic beds, a different make from the one in the other picture as the space was slightly too short for 2 of the others. These are also meant to measure 1m x 0.5m, but the exact measurements are smaller and the beds are deeper. I can't remember which was which or where I got them from unfortunately, but these 2 bow more than the other one.

Looking at these photos, I really must clean up my patio which is looking a real mess!

Pics are a few years old now - i opted for sleepers so i could get a good depth of soil, as the soil in my garden is really heavy clay!

I'm sure it did but you must be chuffed with the results.

very ! but its only looking back at the pics that make us realize just how much we managed to achieve over 12 months , it has been a huge slog but the crops we had from it last year was like it had been producing for years and i think"no i know " that it was this success that has kept us going to complete it ! thankfully the hard work should be done now and we can enjoy it as we want ! thanks for the positive comments though ,its things like that that keep us all going forward

That's one of the reason I set up the http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...dar_83084.html thread. It gives folk a sense of achievement over they year. As did the 2014 Calendar.
