    Wilko medium walk in greenhouse

    Just had delivered one of these

    Wilko Walk in Greenhouse Cover and Stage PE at wilko.com

    I dont think its bad for £25! The small one is £30 still.

    My oh is going to make a base from decking boards & fasten it to the frame using pipe clamps.

    I had a similar one from lidl Bex, they last three or so years before the little squre pieces fall out but to me, well worth the money.

      Great post Bex !!

      As jackarmy says - probably won't last for life, but still great value for the money.

      I wonder if the do replaceable covers - they normally do for the smaller versions.

          Ive not found a replacement cover anywhere yet, but if it lasts 3 years, well for £25 I'll just buy another! My 4 tier blowaway i have in my garden in now on its third year, and still going strong.

            Yep, my similar blow aways have lasted over 5 years now.

            Although, they are a bit like 'Trigger's Broom' - I've replaced the covers many times and had to use some alternative items for bits of the frames.

              I bought the identical one last year to keep logs in. It's full to the rafters & dries them out perfectly. Not exactly what you buy one for I know but just an alternative example. The extra guy ropes are a bonus.

                Very tempting to get a couple as I know a place on the plot where they could go Could be handy as extra melon, cucumber & tomato houses as the summer progresses too I guess

                I'll have a look in our local Wilko tomorrow as Neil gets paid on Monday.

                  I dont know if its an online only offer, the shelf label in my local wilko was still £35, but i didnt ask for a price check.

                  I was even thinking the frame could be used as a fruit cage.

                      When I converted my tunnels into cages, I left the original doors & front/back in tact with cable ties then netted everything else. Saves messing about making a new door.

                        Same one I've got,if you want it as a permanent structure,is it a good idea to glue the joins together,I don't know? I was forever tightening the joins together on mine in September & October,until it blew away down the garden. Even with the base secure,the whole thing won't be......

                          I had one in my back yard a good few years until I got the plot, as most if not all of my back yard is "Decking" I made a little base from Roof Latting, secured to the decking, then fastened a fair few 15mm pipe clips that and clipped the base of the frame into them! Solid as a rock!

                          2 Years it needed a new cover, another 2 and it did eventually take off in a storm, never to be seen again, but in that time, saved it's purpose brilliantly!

                            I popped in to our local Wilko (in Alnwick, Northumberland) today and they've got them on the shelf priced at £25 Very tempted to get one on Monday as it'll give me a little bit more space to grow stuff.

                              Plastic greenhouses

                              Hi,The wife bough us one from Poundstretcher in Kingston Park last week for £20.Looks OK!
                              Haven't assembled it outside yet because of the weather in Amble.Maybe next month!
