When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. ~Author Unknown

I haven't started anything yet as it's still far too early for up here - next month I'll start my chillies and the first of this years lettuces off, as well as sweet peas for the gardens I'm looking after.
However, from my tunnel I am still harvesting Swiss Chard, Perpetual Spinach, "real" spinach, pak choi, raddichio and parsley. I also have some Spring Greens and leeks growing on.
It is also home to over 100 blackcurrant cuttings and approx 750 strawberry runners in 3" pots awaiting planting out in Spring.

Broad beans, sweet peas, auriculas, onions, carrots, lemon bush, peach tree, and packed away for overwintering - fuschias, dahlias, vietnamese coriander, geraniums.
I'm also germinating turnip and spinach inside, which will go out under fleece in the greenhouse once they start coming through.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

i have a polytunnel, and there was parsnips, romanesco, raspberries, my only leek to grow, and a couple of beetroot, they mostly just happened to be where i put the tunnel up.

but since the winds on saturday theres a yucca, a couple of palms, some bamboo and a fish pond

actually, they aren't actually in it ........ they are under it

My #1 greenhouse has several dead tomato plants in pots and a slightly falling to bits staging. #2 greenhouse has several piles of empty pots and trays, a half emptied trough, and the cover off my mini greenhouse... I think this may end up being my most disorganised season ever

I have some lettuce in a trough, some dead geraniums, fushia cuttings, some mystery bulbs that a neighbour gave me, bulb in planters which are presents, fruit trees that I brought at the weekend from pound stretcher and homebase and a red currant bush that I am going to plant when I get time along with the fruit trees

Oh and a tree fern baby this I managed to save after I killed the main plant unless it recovers this year

More dead geraniums here too, along with lots of lavender and aquelegia (sp) from last year that I didn't get round to planting, and some shiny spikey green garlic shoots.
(and a failed late pea experiment)

Ive just put 2 leek seeds in mine in a new self watering propogator, i'll see if it works before i put anything else in. I do have in my window 40 [yes a bit too many] leek seeds in my peat pockets, 1st time using them, also my yellow strawberry seeds are growing in the kitchen window as well as the goji berry growing like mad, needs repotting when the new pots come.

I don't have a green house just yet (being delivered on friday soooooo excited) but my make shift greenhouse (my house) has strawberries serian, cabbage golden acre, broad bean longpod and bunyard, cauliflower all year round, and leeks mussleburgh phew what a list lol. So needless to say my patio windows look a little cluttered at the moment.
