Tomato leaf problem
I have small yellow blotches on a few of my tomato leaves and have no idea what it is. They are in a small portable greenhouse thing.. Any ideas?

Hi DeePee, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately you can't upload photos until you've made a few more posts... as for your tomatoes, can you tell us a little more? Variety? If they're in pots, how big are the pots? Have you examined the leaves for pests?
Sometimes yellow spots can be scorch marks from getting water on the leaves in sunny weather, how are you watering your plants?He-Pep!Comment

If its similar to the below then its magnesium deficiency, helped by applying some epson salts. Personally always add epson salts and lime to tomatos at planting. Its fairly well eliminated blossom rot but still get these type of leaves lower down

Hi thanks for answering.
The varieties are black Russian, supersweet and harzfeuer. They are all cordon types. I've been taking sideshoots off and I water them using a hose. They are in 11" pots in a 5ft portable greenhouse. Its only on a few leaves at the top end of the plants but seems to be coming on a couple of other leaves. The greenhouse is full of condensation in the afternoon when I open it.

I wonder if your plants might be reacting to the damp atmosphere ? doesn't sound like a deficiency problem to me, though its hard to be sure without a photo.
I think perhaps the best bet would be to increase the ventilation by leaving the doors somewhat open for the time being and monitor the issue.Comment

In this weather, you should have the GH open all day. Condensation may be dripping onto the leaves and "cooking". Improve the ventilation.

Hi thanks for replying. I have followed your advice as it is currently very hot all day and night and as your advice on condensation dripping on to leaves and cooking, that makes sense as there are some spots as well as splodges like a drip has run down the leaves. Its the top leaves as I said so makes sense. I will follow your advice and keep you updated.

And as nickdub mentioned the greenhouse is very damp. I can't really see inside in the morning for the amount of condensation. I am leaving it slightly open tonight and will keep it open during the day.Comment

You may need to cutback on the watering too, it shouldn't be damp in there or you'll encourage more problems.
