  • Planting Diary Spreadsheet

Hey guys. As a new gardener, especially to polytunnel growing, I've put together a spreadsheet based on info from friends and from the web on various vegetable plants, when to plant & when to expect to harvest. I can't upload it on here. Anyone know how to do it?
I thought others with more experience could comment on the dates, download it and add more varieties. Could be quite a good resource to novices like moi.
My wife is still laughing at this (thinks I've gone potty) but I am an engineer by training so like lists, formulas and rules lol
If there's no way to upload, I'll happily email to anyone interested for comment or if you think it might be useful

You could put it up as a zip file maybe - or pdf it.

Or google docs it - which is what we often do.

Be prepared for the Excel Queen to come along and make 'adjustment/amendments'.

[That's me by the way ]

Once it's up there, I might gather all the planners we've put on here as a stand alone thread for people to look at...if I get time.

Cool. I have PDF'd it but it's too large to upload. Exceeds Max File size

Try google docs LIF as Zaz suggested. I think that's what I have used in the past.

Not sure if this is of any use in the meantime.

That's fantastic. Just what I was trying to do but far more comprehensive. TY Much appreciated.

That's one of the wonderful things about the vine, everyone tries to help each other.

You wouldn't have a link to crop rotation guidelines would you? I have split my outdoor bed into four but not sure what to group together so I can move around the clock face next year. One bed is dedicated for spuds, the other for onions & some large leaf sprawling plants like pumpkins & melons. #3 is for beans, peas, spinach celery etc & #4 is for carrots, parsnips, & cabbage types. Does this sound like a good mix that I can rotate next year?

Well if the RHS recommend this then it's good enough for me.
