  • My greenhouse.

Im off to collect my secondhand greenhouse this morning donated by a family member in Lincoln. Got my brother and his tranny van to help Ive looked at previous threads regarding what equipment to take(thanks everyone)....just a bit worried about the weather, so I might leave it down when we get back to the lottie until it calms down. Its only 6ft x 4ft but Im grateful just to get one. Cant wait

remember to go to somewhere like Wilco's and get a couple of packs of glazing clips and spare nuts and bolts, there are never enough when you go to re-assemble and you will shear a few nuts off (ooh er missus!) good luck with it and yes i would probably wait till the gales forcast for sunday night/monday have passed, no point in subjecting a greenhouse to gales if it don't need to be

If I'd known royboy, I could have given you a hand! You can't have been far from me at all. Hope everything went well!
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Cool - I made myself a 'greenkennel' yesterday and wondered if I'd invented a new word. (Think greenhouse the size of a St Bernard)

Or maybe it's just a cloche with delusions of grandeur ; )

Im always up for a party seasprout. I picked up from Welton. Only managed to break 2 panes...not bad to say how windy its been all day Cheers for the offer seahorse. I got my brother to help me, along with his van which was handy. Leaving it a few days before I put it up though, when it calms down a bit.
