I use a weak solution of Armillatox for cleaning everything..........including chook house!

This usually involves me in head to toe waterproofs, ***** fluid solution in a bucket, a soft broom and a hosepipe. Always, always get pints down my sleeves working on the roof - so I'm really hoping someone has a better way of doing this!

Rubber gloves OVER your waterproofs and rubber bands to keep them there. No more water up your sleeves

well one thing about having a cheapy greenhouse is i can take the cover off, lay it out and ***** it no problem

still wish i had a proper one though it would be worth the soggy arms.

If your an organic grower like me then your best bet is EcoOver multi-surface cleaning solution, which you can get from most supermarkets, in hot water.

If you have a particular mould problem I would follow this up with a sprinkling of Bordeaux mixture or Borax (the latter can be bought cheaply from a chemist) in the relevant area.

Also if you need to clean off shade wash from a polycarbonate glazed greenhouse (yes I know you are not supposed to use it on plastics but i forgot to read the label!) use kitchen towel dipped in vegtable oil to wipe off the white stuff and then a day later wash down the greenhouse with hot soapy water to remove the residual oil.

The rubber gloves over my sleeves are usually in place, it's just as you reach up to clean overhead that things part company and the water gets in - the rubber bands are obvious - so why didn't I ever think of it

If the rubber bands don't work get some duck tape !!

im normally fumigate it first, you can buy a tin from any garden centre, light it and then leave!! I then use a mix of ***** fluid and warm water and use an old sponge mop, its great for cleaning the roof and you can squeeze excess water!!!

I use a mix of ***** and water, with an old large paint brush, so i can stab it in the corners of the frame. That should kill everything off nicely.
