  • Donated Greenhouse needs TLC

Hi folks, I've had a greenhouse very kindly donated, but I am finding that it doesn't seem to be manufactured by one of the normal suppliers and the parts (clips etc.) might not be readily available, but it's hard to tell until I can identify the brand of it.

The profile of the frame looks something like:

There's also a picture of a similar one on Elloughton Greenhouses website, but they can't remember much about it:

Can anybody help shed any light please?

What is it you are trying to do. Can you put some pics up of the actual frame rather than drawings?

Hi Bigmally, I'm trying to find a way to repair the door, replace any missing glazing clips, re-fit the glass with the appropriate seal and generally tidy it up.

This is a picture of the greenhouse:

What glazing clips did it come with? When I got my second hand GH I just bought new ones from here

        https://www.greenhousepeople.co.uk/c...parts/glazing/

There's loads of spares that are universal.

Have you tried putting a pane of glass or polycarb into the frame?
I have 4 GHs, 3 were freebies, but they all accept the same glazing clips. The bent wire W clips are the easiest to use.

You can buy universal rubber seals, and universal glazing clips.

I have got 4 greenhouses, all different no idea of the makes, but they all take standard clips, either of the 2 popular sorts. Glass I buy from my local garden centre and cut any weird shapes myself. When I needed rubber I went through the yellow pages and tracked down a local man who sold various sorts.

                Hi,
Do you have any advice for cutting glass as we will need to do this for 4 panes
