Hi and welcome to the vine. Thanks for the link - they make it look quite easy to do. Got any piccies of yours and any tips from your own experience of building one?
    Happy Gardening,

I'd be interested to see how it holds up to the winter storms as I'm looking at a 24x12 PT my self and I've got some of that size polypipe ( Struggling to track the thicker stuff down like piglet used )

        Thats not a tunnel............................

        This is a tunnel.

No, seriously it looks good. As Nick says, it will be interesting how the smaller gauge pipe holds up over the winter.

I have always held to the ethos that if you dont know the answer its never a stupid question, however .......
Now I am again single, blissfully happy and totally in control of where I can put stuff in my garden, and what I can put in, I am intending to build a DIY polytunnel. Looking at around 10m x 6m or so, but reasonably high, probably 5-6m as I have my banana trees.
The frame wont be an issue, but where is the best place to get a single sheet of plastic to cover it?
          All help gratefully received

Disregard my last posting. I was clearly far too lazy to look first and then not need to ask the question. Have now read up from all the experts on here, and am just a little bit wiser

              Hi
Just tried your link at the top but it said it was not found so I looked under Projects and Garden Plans but can't seem to find it. Do I need to register to find it on the site??

We have just made a greenhouse out of pallets and wondered about making a PT aswell.

A Tyke is a person who is born and bred in Yorkshire - they may move away but they will always be a Tyke at heart!

By the way both me and the OH are Tykes!
