  • 6M Parasene soil warming cable problem

    Hi
Has anybody had these constantly tripping an RCB, I have gone through 3 in 3 years, always in the middle of winter ie Feb?
It is bedded in sand in a 4ft x 2.5ft plastic tray with another tray fitted in and sealed around the edges with silicone to stop any ingress of water.
    A large open propagator.
Fitted with a thermostat, always has power on even in Summer.
    Really annoyed and angry.
Can't do anything about it tonight.
It will have to wait until tomorrow.
Feed the soil, not the plants.

Now sorted----power supply cable had overheated.
Good excuse to buy a super duper propagator though.

      Glad you got it sorted.
