Homebase @ Lombards Roundabout Purley Way are selling off all their Parasene and greenhouse stuff.

It has been moved to a skip at the bottom right of the store.

    I just got a Thermostat £13.49, a 20ft Heater Cable £6 and a Cold Frame Hanging Heater for £3.

They also have coldframes and greenhouse staging and Alan Titchmarsh books.

Loads of stuff....the coldframe heater is a parafin one. I got one this morning but the globe was cracked and when I went back it was all moved to the skip. As you go in the door walk right to the back, past the stairs on your right and it is in a blue skip all piled up. They has Greenhouse shelves, Window vent kits, Cold Frames, ali staging. Parafin and electric heaters.

The other shop at 5ways has a few bits but no as cheap.

I bought my cold frame heater from Homebase for about £10. I just thought it was an end of stock thing.

I think Parasene have went out of business! The wicks are standard size though so spare parts shouldn't be an issue!

bugger I was looking out for a heater, Purley Way is a bit far from me for a special trip, on nights tonight (again) so will call into local HB on way home in morning. Unless i can think of a cunning plan to get OH to agree a trip to Ikea and the Slovak deli in Streatham is required!!

The Cold frames weren't that cheap £20 for an ali and glass one. Ikea are surposed to be doing a plastic one for £10.
