  • Bargin Chit Chat

I am a complete bargin hunter !!! i think even if i was rich i would still hunt round for the best bargins " i cant help it !" i dont work fridays now, so friday is my day for shopping, i have seen myself go to 3 supermarkets for the different offers ! as we all live all over the country and probably dont shop in the same places, we should have a bargin thread ? in the current climate with job losses etc bills to pay and all that stuff i try not to think about !, i would like to make my money go further, and would be gutted if i thought i was buying something cheap, but somebody else had bought the same for cheaper and i didnt know !

Louisesgarden, please tell me that the makeup range makes skin-like-old-shoe-leather into soft, supple young-hot-chick skin. I'm going to Aldi tomorrow to check those out - I could do with knocking off ten (or maybe twenty) years.

            I love a bargain, me.

Perhaps not that good, Louise, but their moisturising anti-wrinkle day and night cream really makes a difference. I would say that it tightens up the wrinkly bits a little - and at 70 I have a few of those! - and generally smooths out the skin. The earlier you start to use it, the more effective it would be I should think, and at £1.89 a pot it's not going to break the bank. Their firming lotion for the rest of the body is good too.

Aldi ... not impressed. Their waterproof mascara isn't.

I've heard good things about their wrinkle cream though.

I found the same thing with the Aldi waterproof mascara as well.

Yesterday I bought the Lacura day cream and their night cream. So far, very impressed with the price - cheap enough to try out.

Also I'm very happy with the cream.

We know you're gorgeous NOG - no need to be coy.

As for me, I'm no oil painting, just hoping the cream is going to work a little miracle. So far, I really find the cream feels really good and soothing.

I haven't been asked for ID to buy alcohol (for age check!) or anything - YET.
