A few days in Italy in Winter
Popped over to the vineyard for a few days mainly to prune the vines and check up on everything. It was very cold but bright although they must have had recent rain as the waterfall was rushing along. In the distance you could see the snow on the top of the mountains. The vines were in bud (very early) but we managed to give them all a slight prune. In fact it felt in general as if spring was just around the corner. As we left 2 deer were grazing in the wildflower meadow and the birds were singing as the sun came up.You must be logged in to post a comment.
