  • Lime(s)

Just found 2 fairly large limes on my lime bush - indoor in a big pot.
Had been carefully watching a small one develop on a branch higher up and completely missed these 2, down the bottom resting on the pot edge and in amongst a few large leaves.

Having had a few in the past - generally smaller however - thses are likelyto have an intense flavour.

    Lime cheesecake comes to mind.

More then a little surprised however.

      Actually more shock then surprise.
Started out as "What is that?" expecting a dying leaf. I had wandered in the room and decided to water the thing.
Realised it was lime then saw the second.
They match the leaf colour perfectly and are actually big. Slightly unusual to get them that size and still remain green, the normal tendency is to turn yellow as oiur temperatures are too low.

But from previous the lime itself smells much more intense and the flavour is very good.

Really a case of: Arghhh, what now???
