Advice Please - black fly and runner beans

Any ideas my runner bens the stems, leaves, slowers and beans are all covered in black fly really bad.

Its so disgusting I feel like pulling them all up.

Any ideas please

put your marigolds on and squish em and then spray em with soapy water.

I have found that once blackfly get a good hold it is difficult to resolve the problem. If you are not opposed to chemicals then I would get a good insect spray to get them under control. I have never found soapy water to be very effective. What I have found is that a good hosepipe with a jet fitting and blast them off works. Dont use a power washer though as you will destroy the plants as well. The hosepipe worked well on the broad beans earlier this year and I just used a finger over the end of the pipe to create the pressure.
