  • Seeds for Swapping

I have made a list of the seeds I have for swapping:-

Herb mint packeted for year end 2009 (full packet unopened 1,500 seeds)
Parsley French (Plain leaved) packeted for year end 2009 (full packet 1,000 seeds unopened).
Spinach Galaxy F1 Hybrid, packeted for year end 2009 (150seeds, unopened full packet)
Courgette (All green bush) sow by 2011 (full packet 10 seeds)
Herb Basil sweet green, packeted for year end 2009 (400 seeds, nearly full packet).
Herb Coriander packeted for year end 2009 (150 seeds, nearly full packet).

Also found approx 15 rhubard seeds (don't know sow by date as OH ripped that bit off packet, though only bought this year).

I would like to swop for spring onions seeds or over-winter vegetables and also florence fennel.

    Hi
Is it is easy to grow rhubarb from seed? I could do with replacing some very old plants. Would also like your courgette seeds but I think the spring onion seeds I have are probably out of date - will check. Anything else you'd like?

Hi Shaza, yes rhubarb is very easy from seed, no picking first year, light picking 2nd and 3rd year will be well established.

Sorry to take so long to get back, was out last night. Yes I can confirm Rhubarb is easy to grow and I will also send courgette as well if you PM me your address. If spring onions no good (or out of date), what about pak choi or any kind of lettuce or salad. Cheers
