  • seeds for swapping

Finally sorted out my seed box this morning and have got the following spares - all ok for next season:
    Chickpeas
    swede virtue - dt brown
    lettuce lakeland - t&M
    radish scarlet globe - T&M
dwarf french bean purple queen - Unwins
    lettuce babylon - dt brown
rhubarb seeds (saved from a friend but grew me 2 new crowns this year)
runner bean white lady - marshalls - TAKEN

Happy to give to a good home but would love some sweet pepper or brocoli seeds or melon.

    Thanks
    Mel

    Oh, Thats exciting.
I've not grown rhubarb before and I didn't realise that you can grow it from seed. Is it easy? And how long/fast does it take to grow.

It does germinate in spring reasonably quickly and we then planted it out in July time. I presume it will take a couple of years to fruit - never done it before myself either. I think most people tend to buy crowns as they are quicker to harvest.

Please may I try the rhubarb?
I only have to give either rocket or wild rocket or some flowers. ( Which I can't have a look at the moment to tell you which they are.) More than happy to pay postage.

Hello Cotton, if you still want pepper seeds PM me your address and I will send you some from the peppers in the pic. I've done a germination test on them and it was 100%. I don't know what variety they are as I bought it as a baby plant without a label. If anybody else would like some just let me know as I have loads of seeds.

Alice, are these edible or ornamental peppers?

They're certainly good-looking peppers Alice, what do they taste like?
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
