  • Seed Circle 4 - Peas and Beans only - 2011-12

The Grapevine Heritage Seed Circle Number 3 - the Pea and Bean Special

    The idea is
    :

16 of us grow some seeds for sharing out.

    Then we share them out.

    Simples
    .

Where I got the idea from:
    SeedCircle

    Some simple seed saving instructions:
    How To Save Seed

The idea is that this thread can become a place to share what we are growing, when it is coming up to harvesting, and where we are all with things.

Also, post any queries or techniques that we have devised to keep the seed clean.

Note: Runner beans and Broad Beans are open to crossing, so these will need isolating.

    Ok - first job.

Post on here which open pollinated or heritage peas or beans you feel you can save in 2011 - but if you change your mind, no worries.

Yeah I'm wondering the same as Frostyfreckle...I have what I think are some interesting peas and beans that I'd like to contribute (and I'd love to receive some as well)...
