  • Peas - Serpette de Guilloteau

At least I think they're called that, from Real Seeds, half a packet left, grow to 1.5-ish metres.
I didn't like them much, would like to swap for some other type of pea - but not a purple-podded one....

Ooooh, I grow them (don't need the seeds though as already have some) and find them really lovely and sweet. What is it that you don't like about them?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Mine were quite mealy. They were nice when they were tiny [petit pois sized] but when they got to a bit smaller than a normal pea, they got all floury.
        Might be just me then?
I probably left them too long. I grew some other ones though that were sweet all the way to large pea size, but they were wrinkly peas when dry.
