  • Looking for shark fin melon/malabar melon seeds

    Hi All,

Does anyone happen to have a few spare shark fin melon seeds? We've been unsuccessful trying to track them down anywhere - so here's hoping.

    I've got plenty to swap:
    Tomatoes
    Leeks
    carrots
    various types of chillies
    aubergines ("normal" and Calliope)
    courgettes
    different squashes
    different radishes
    and more...

    Fingers crossed...

    Thank you
    SunnyU

Before I became enlightened and realised the melon was used to make a mock sharks fin soup...............I asumed the melon was in the shape of a sharks fin! Now that WOULD be a novelty!

I thought that sharks-fin melon was basiocally a ripe spaghetti squash?.... in which case yes you will need tools you're unliely to find in a kitchen to open it
