  • Gherkins?

Has anyone got half a dozen gherkin seeds please? They germinated beautifully, but when I put them into buckets outside even with bottle covers they shrivelled and gave up the ghost and now I can't find the rest of the packet. I have Firenze Fennel I could swap, or plenty of my own saved coriander seed, or I have some garlic chives. Loads of other stuff, but nothing fancy I'm afraid.

Cucumbers have failed for me entirely. If they decided to germinate, they died not long after. I have three small gherkins growing, but I'm not holding my breath. If you need more seeds, I have some - just let me know

Thanks Sarriss, VC has sent me enough to be going on with, so I'm able to start again. Hope yours grow strong and healthy

VC, thanks again, I've just sown them and they are in luxury in pots on the windowsill covered with cling. Your name is on the label with the variety

Good luck with this lot Bins
