    white hellebore

Aka christams rose. A semi-evergreen perennial which bears white flowers in late winter/early spring. As the flowers age they change to an antique pink then green and can be used in arrangements once the seed pods form in the centre.

    white peony poppy

A white form of the gorgeous big blousy poppies. An annual that forms a large seed pod which are good in arrangements. Seeds originally from Premierseeds

    verbascum

Originally from Mr Fothergills seed. It is a hardy perennial and the flower spikes can reach around 2-3ft tall. Their sowing directions are Sow indoors, January-April, to flower the same year, 0.5cm (") deep, in trays of compost. A temperature of 15-20C (60-68F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Transplant them, 5cm (2") apart, to other trays, when large enough to handle. Gradually accustom young plants to outside conditions, before planting out into well-drained soil, May-October, 40cm (16") apart, when frosts are over. Or, sow outdoors, April-July, to flower the following year, in a seed bed, 0.5cm (") deep, into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Thin seedlings to 5cm (2") apart, before planting out to flowering position in autumn, spacing 40cm (16") apart. Flowers: June to August.

    auricula mixed

Hardy evergreen perennials reaching around 15cm high. Great for rockeries, edging beds, containers or theatres. Pretty flowers that have a personality all of their own.

    aquilegias mixed

Mix includes yellows, blues and picks. Racer type (don't know the proper name), clematis and single and double hanging bonnets.

    orlaya

Be careful, the seeds are bristly/ scratchy, so much so I doubt I will offer them again. Seeds originally from chiltern seeds. They say" Found in dry grassy places, vineyards and olive groves in the Mediterranean area, this is a most striking and distinctive annual. With attractive, much-divided, fern-like foliage, it bears over a long period rather lovely, lace-like, pure white umbels. Although of the standard Cow Parsley design, the said lace effect is achieved by the plant distinguishing itself and cleverly making the outer petals of the outer florets eight times longer than the others. A magical variation that looks good in a vase as well" I have found this seems to grow better when treated as a biennial.

    sea thrift

Aka armeria. This is a pink flowering form. Sea thrift is an evergreen perennial and ideal for rockeries and such like. They form a low growing (15cm high) mound of thin strap like leaves and in summer throw up flower stems that bear pink flowery pom pom heads.

    sea campion.

An ideal flower for a rockery, bank or wall, where it will display its disproportionately large, white frilly flowers, nestling on cushions of grey leaves for a long period in spring and early summer, the single, comparatively large, white flowers giving a star-studded appearance to this low-growing perennial. The tiny grey-green leaves form a dense clump that will die back in the winter months and re-appear in the spring. This hardy little treasure is native to the UK where it is to be found in coastal areas, appearing on cliffs, rocky outcrops or wherever you care to grow it.

    pilosella aurantiaca

Perennial - Small bright orange flowers. Approx. 1 foot. Has a reputation for being invasive, so keep an eye on it. Tolerates dry, good for rockeries etc.

Perennial - Spiky red flowers, grows approx. 3 foot high. Very robust plant, will grow in full sun or semi shade, Flowers May-June.

    welsh poppies

Perennial - Yellow and orange mix. Sow direct in Spring (doesn't like to be transplanted) Favours damp, but will also grow from cracks and crevices.

    cineraria cirrus

Tender perennial - Usually grown for silver foliage, but from 2nd year also has yellow flowers. Approx. 1 foot. Likes full sun. Cut back if it gets straggly.

    alstro red beauty

Perennial - Eventual height up to 4ft, flowers from July. Sow soon while seed is fresh. Tricky to germinate, try heat, then cold, can take months.....good luck!! Pull flower stems like rhubarb.

    Knautia Macedonia

Perennial - Originated from last years swap (thanks to Scarlet). Vivid pink, scabious-like flowers. Useful plant to grow in shade.

    Musk Mallow

And the final plant, pretty but can be a bit straggly/floppy so maybe needs support from staking or nearby plants. 2ft high, similar spread, flowers early-mid summer, sometimes used for cut-flowers.

    chilean glory

Smallish seeds - finishing drying indoors to avoid the monsoon.
Seems to be a range of colours, I have an orange/red one at home and a pink one on the allotment, I'll try to mix the two. Self clinging delicate ferny foliage, about 6ft high, flowers mid-late summer. Not very prolific this year but I think would prefer hotter and sunnier than we've had, having said that it's still flowering. I have mine growing through lonicera, picture taken today.
