    Default Crapaudine beetroot.

I let one of my crapaudine beetroot go to seed - it's impressive just how much you get from one beetroot.

I haven't tested it for germination yet - I'll start that this weekend, but if you want to put your name down for some let me know.

    No problem Nicos.

Can I safely assume that since it was the only beetroot I grew (also no chard etc), and as a heritage variety, it will be true to type?

I've got a bit more than this - probably about 100g or so. Not bad from one plant!

I'd have thought it would come true.
That's an impressive amount of seed!
Do let me know if I can send you anything in exchange....no point in sending just an envelope inside an envelope!

Germination tested at 90%, although if I left it longer then I think the last seed would sprout too, so now we know it's good to go.

Oooh how interesting! That's an old type of beetroot isn't it? I'd love to try some, and I have a huge box full of seeds so will find something interesting to send you!
