Very jealous of your visit to the south Devon chilli farm, I’d love to go to a big proper chilli farm.
Pimenta De Neyde Is a stunning looking plant. Never grown it but I’d like to. I believe it’s a parent plant to quite a few supper hots.

I grew PdN from seed last year and didn’t get a single pod. Overwintered and have pods this year (well, I did before I went away a fortnight ago so fingers crossed that they are all ok.)

It looks like a strong plant that I have so I'm hopeful but time will tell.

There is only one grandparent I trust and even then I would spend the whole time worrying. Yes my oldest is 7 in November and the longest I have spent away from her was the 2.5 days I spent in hospital having her sister. I have only spent 6 hours away from my 5 year old. It will come one day

Do it! I get the worrying bit but it's healthy ( for them and you) for them to be left...even if it's with friends and not the oldies.

Sorry I will get off my soapbox now.

Can I come in with razzamatazz ?
All the seed merchants have them, so they’re pretty common.
Attractive little plants though - and a good crop of fruits.
