I've just chopped all my flowers off my overwintered plants trying to encourage some bushier growth lower down on the plant by giving them a serious haircut.
I have lemon from chillies though so that one will be on my list ....I'm hoping to save some peach /pink or choc habs for the circle

I hacked mine hard back a month or two ago when I was trying to control the caterpillars. Some have struggled to recover but a couple of them are doing quite well.

Sc**w it! I'm in . This planning / building lark is taking to long.
I'll be saving pumpkin ( not confusing at all then ). It's a C. Chinense , pods grow to about 2cm, pumpkin shaped and colour.

I may have to bow out if things get exciting on the building front.

Interesting to see that my Bahamian Goat has been flowering since April, as it didn't set any pods at all then and has only just set a couple. Scotch Bonnet MoA has set quite a few but did I already contribute that to the circle a year or two back? Nagabrain Chocolate has also set quite a few pods so might be a possibility.

My 2019 plants with pods on might not be sufficiently isolated - they are all scrunched in together under the grow lights because it's still so cold and gloomy. The branches overlap. Every few days I get them out and tickle the flowers (with a dedicated cotton bud for each variety) but I don't have time to do that every day so mostly I just give the plants a quick shake. This might distribute the pollen from one plant to another. So not guaranteed isolated.

The white bubblegum has isolated pods because it flowered first. Unfortunately it has turned out not to be a bubblegum at all. So that's no use.

Basically, I still have no idea whether I'm in or not.

Don't be worried about contributing something you've done before - we can't always isolate every plant we have and fresh seed is always best. I'm hoping some new bees join in the fun too so saving something from a few years back won't matter at all.

I'd like to join, if I can hit the 50 comments limit by the time we all send out. I can save Ring of fire, demon red, medusa or something just labelled 'Thai', as you all prefer.

Would be great for you to join! let us know closer to the date what you've managed to isolate and set pods.

I'm thinking I might go for this one too.

Last week I was at the South Devon Chilli Farm and bought a Pimenta De Neyde plant that i'd never heard of before. So may isolate a couple of those, and maybe something else. My 'Cayenne Thicks' are romping away this year.
