I just had to look up pilosella aurantiaca. Orange hawkbit, love that. It’s not known for growing wild up here. Used to see it when I lived in Somerset.

I’ll be adding french marigolds to my list. I’ve got very carried away collecting them.

Yes, that was from me. I wondered how you had done. I've read recently that it may need cold stratification.

I can't remember how I started them off Scarlet, but I do remember that slugs were very fond of the seedlings so I lost a lot. We ended up with two plants for me and two for my mum, and I'll be saving seed this year to grow more. I like them not just for the gorgeous shade of pink, but also because they seem happy to live in the shade and my garden has a lot of difficult shady spots.

Sorry NG Iím going to have to bow out already .
Had a mini disaster! Seed were drying nicely, Iíd even cleaned most of them ready for bagging. Weather change, condensation build up dripping onto seeds , lots of them swimming and some started sprouting . Iíve tried recurring some but I donít have enough so everyone would get a descent amount. And not convinced theyíll be that viable now. Sorry.

Aww, SP, that's a real shame for you.

So far, I don't have anything. This is one of the Lauren's Grape poppies if anyone likes them.

Well now I’m really gutted. That’s beautiful Mitzi.

I might have to start again, if it ever stops raining that is. It’s not good collecting dripping wet seed pods is it.

    Ok Iím back in
Iím sorry to say with fewer varieties and smaller quantities.

Iíve spent far to long today sorting, rescuing seeds. Iíve had to bin ( throw into the orchard so they have a chance if they want to grow ) quite a few. All of the blue bell seeds.

French marigolds some rescued some newly harvested.

Some others bagged and labelled. Now in the house & safe.

Still got knapweed drying ( away from drips ) if anyone wants some.

    Flower Seed Circle 2019-agapanthus.jpg

With the high winds and the constant downfull of apples my poor Agapanthus is looking a little battered as the flowers have all nearly dropped off and some of the stems are now horizontal or leaning towards the ground. But there are going to be a load of seeds for the circle this year.
