    It was definitely worth saving the piccolo seeds, and worth the gamble of growing them on.
    I passed the resulting plants around various people and kept two for myself.
    They have fruited like billyo ... lovely little red cherry tomatoes with a very good flavour.
    Havenít had any feedback from the recipients of the other plants though.

    Just found the information about my black cherry toms. The ones Iím growing are an heirloom variety, so iíll be able to include some of these in the swap.
    Iíve had quite a good crop so far, and theyíre very tasty. They have a tendency to split if you leave them too long. Iíll post a photo of them later on today when Iíve dashed out in the rain to pick a few more.
    Theyíre more brownish than black. Modern varieties seem much blacker and shinier.

    Iím definitely saving Violet Jasper this year. Best crop Iíve ever had with these so far. Lovely looking Tom too
