My tomato seeds arrived this morning.
Thank you very much Scarlet for organising this.
Thanks also to all who sent in seeds so we can all try some other varieties.
I am so looking forward to the coming season and know I will be spoiled for choice.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Cadalot Iím just wondering, the rapunzel seeds are F1,are we testing F2 versions with these seeds,so we could get something other than what itís meant to be or were they fresh seeds from a packet? I have no space for testing things this year,Iím testing a load of my self saved mini peppers, not all plants will be good because they originated from F1 hybrid plants

    Good question, JJ.
Googling them, they come up as F1 and I understood that seeds saved from F1s are not to be offered to this circle.
I shan't be growing them - they'll go straight in the bin.

I had forgot they were originally F1. The seeds are now third generation saved seeds, and I had such a prolific plant on the allotment and in the back garden from the ones I grew last year, all I can say is if you have room and want to give them a try do it. I just put a plant in the ground on the allotment and let it go wild and it produced more tomatoes that most of the other varieties I grew at home on its own

VC the were so prolific last year and they are now third generation seeds so should hopefully be stable ish by now, if you have space just stick in the ground and leave it too it.

No thanks Cad. I'd rather put my efforts into growing something predictable.
