Sorry Thelma!! I should put a post in the bean thread - anyone with Beans and also NGs pack (as I had to rearrange in as it wouldn't fit through that slot) havent gone out yet.

Just a quick note to let people know that the seeds I sent are "Oleron Yellow" not "Okeron Yellow". I believe they are related to Oleron Red and are ones I have been growing out for a while. (Its just I noticed the spelling mistake being perpetuated through other websites).

Thanks Mark...in a seed swap a few years back one tomato was named incorrectly and everyone used the wrong name! It's amazing how quickly it travels.

Its one of the things that I find intriguing. I know that tomatoes cross easily but I'd love to know how many of the varieties with different names are actually the same and how many with the same name are actually different.

I noticed earlier this year that the RHS had taken away the AGM for Gardeners Delight and one of their reasons was that there was too much variation in the plants from different sources. So I wonder which one is "true" Gardeners Delight.

Must admit, pretty "Gutted" this year as I missed out with being busy at work, really think it is time to take a different direction if only to be allowed to grow and nurture my tomatoes!

    I just love these things!

You only have to keep one or two plants on the go Deano, maybe cut down and just nurture a few? I had to do that this year.
