    strawberry ideas??

    I have just picked 5 huge gorgeous ripe strawberries and want to have them as pudding tonight for 2 or poss 3 people

    Apart from teh obvious of just eating them now by myself and blow teh others, I was wondering what i could do. Not enough to have strawberries and cream, but as we are eating home grown beans, courgettes and spuds I want to show off!!

    Thinking maybe mini strawberry tarts or strawberry shortcakes, any more ideas or recipes?

    Do you have enough for a sorbet - do you have any other fruit to add to it? Sorbet is dead easy to make and refreshing after a big fat dinner.

      Make some small meringue "blobs" with a one egg meringue, chop strawbs into whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder or choc shavings.

      Plus a sprig of mint or lemon balm to garnish of course.
