  • Quorn

    Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone eats a lot of Quorn, what are your thoughts on Quorn, I personally have never tried it, but I have posted some recipe videos
and I might try some at the weekend as the recipes look pretty good.

    What are your thoughts

    Andy

why whats the problem, I notice that you have links to your website and blog in your signature.
I have asked a question about a food product and have asked for peoples thoughts on the product, so whats the problem.

Mine doesn't have amazon links or a sales area - it's just a blog.

Unless you are an advertiser with the magazine - of which I am just awaiting advice on. We remove ALL advertising links as per the original Terms and Conditions 13.1

Well just delete the post then, I was only trying to generate some thoughts on quorn, and if you checked out my blog, you will see no advertising on there. It seems a bit harsh but if those are the rules.

I hate quorn. I really can't see the point in it.

I'm very new to Quorn, had some the other day for the first time - it reminded me of chicken breast.

So it may get a thumbs up from me due to such low-fat content and I believe it is good for calcium or is that Tofu or are they the same thing

Eat it all the time use it for stir fry's, dishes that require mince is replaced with quorn mince, OH eats quorn sausages, I cant stand them like cardboard, same reason I wont eat the burgers.

So is Tofu Quorn or is Quorn Tofu?

Not very lively this discussion is it, I think people should post more!

I have heard that quorn mince is good, especially for a spag bol or chilli.

Tofu is made from bean curd, and quorn is made from mycroprotein, which is extracted from a fungus.

                            I love it

I actually know the lady whose husband discovered it - we went to uni together.
