  • Quorn question.

    Hi,
I am wondering if you can reheat frozen quorn. I am the only one who likes spag bog and have quite a bit of quorn left to use up.
So if I make a large amount up can I freeze it and or leave it in the fridge and use it the following day?
    Thanks

I always do and it seems exactly the same. Also i make a large lasagne and portion that up and freeze it and i put in the quorn mince.
Try the quorn meatballs love them in a spag bol and you can take just a couple out at a time
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Yes you can - is frozen in raw form and you are freezing the cooked version. I used to like it - OH is allergic to mushrooms so now we can't have it.

Yes no problems with reheating Quorn if you have leftovers. It's really great for lasagnes, spag bol and chilli con carne etc. We started eating it because OH was very fussy over minced meat because of the odd occasion of finding bits of gristle (very fussy eater all round) so thank goodness he liked Quorn.
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Thanks for the help. I didn't have spag bog last night in the end. Going to do it for my tea tonight then any left overs have it for my dinner tomorrow when I get back from the allotment
