Has anyone made lavender ice cream?

Nope- but as I decided to make lavender sachets I realised there are two main types of lavender.
One is for sachets..much stronger flavour..and the other is for cooking.
Don't just buy any old lavender flower- it could be the sachet flowers and be overpowering!

Wasn't going to buy any, have loads growing, and on one of the 'chef' programmes, someone used it for flavour, so the idea popped into my mind, thought it might be nice and a bit different.DottyRComment
