  • gluten free pasta

I have a vegetarian coming for lunch on sunday and was thinking of doing a pasta bake - she also tries to avoid wheat, so has anyone tried a pasta bake with doves farm wheat free penne pasta? Is it likely to come out ok?

It will come out just as normal pasta. Loads of experience and use nothing else. Doves are great. Look for their recipies on their web site.

    Good luck.

Do you cook it differently? Only ask as my Godson has just been diagnosed as intollerant and we found it went rather soggy on cooking.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

It looks the same when cooked, Leo and I dont think it gets any other special treatment.

In order to be in the safe side I would make a paella or a savoury risotto or just ask her whatever she likes.

I really like corn pasta, it's just the price that puts me off

For 'special' pasta, I usually just buy the flour (I agree Doves are brilliant) and make my own pasta in the food processor then roll out and cut into papardelle. It only takes a few minutes - really nice.
                I don't roll on Shabbos
