Not sure if this is in the right place but here goes.........
I am growing gherkins to pickle. Looking at them I think that they are going to be ready in dribs and drabs...So....my question is can I pick them as and when they are ready and keep adding them to my pickling jar cos I don't think they would keep very long in the fridge.

I've kept them in the fridge and it worked OK. My production was very poor so it took
three weeks to get enough for one bottle of pickles. A couple of the fruits developed
soft areas, so I don't recommend keeping them that long but up to about a week
      should be alright.

Hi Sneezer , welcome to the vine... I'm not having a problem now . I've got enough gherkins to keep Mr McDonalds supplied ..........

But yes they have kept fine in the fridge
