  • We took Daphne to school!

and she was a model pupil - bok bokked at all the children who took it in turns to stroke her and were all very gentle and quiet (and they are only in Reception!)
My son told them all about how we care for her and the children listened nicely.
And she managed not to poo anywhere!

The funniest thing was when my son asked how we were going to take her there and I said 'in a saucepan' OH then said 'yes with potatoes and onions'
The my son said, 'no don't do that because I won't be able to eat her then as you know I don't like onions!'

    PMSL!

Dapne is now back with her friends, hopefully showing no ill-effects of her day out

Well done to Daphne and her Minders!
And another big well done on the no-poo situation (although I'm sure the children would have enjoyed that!)

Awww that's lovely I also like it that your son has no illusions about the fact that she'll be his food - even though he doesn't like onions
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

ROFL, Why can't kids stay somewhere between the ages of 3 and 5?
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

That's a lovely story, the littlelees will remember that and store it in their memory for those 'Do you remember when ?'......moments.Kids just love animals and many don't get that hands on experience, well done you I'm glad it went well.

lol kids are just so pragmatic! just remember to hold the onions
Never test the depth of the water with both feet

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory....

Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
