    Squeaky Toy Chook

    Hi Peeps, Hope you all enjoyed the sunshine

    I have a hen which is making noises like a squeaky toy, sonds like she id 'gurgleing' a bit too. Eating [but squeaks & stops for a breath] under a year old & laying............. bad news or what do you think?

      Try giving her some warm water and a little oil to sooth her throat. It sounds like she was been a little too greedy!

          Very interesting and more than a little messy! Don't wear anything you're particularly attached too.

          Also, - and I really hope I'm wrong here- she MIGHT have worms. I'm not very well informed about chicken squeaks but one of ours was making funny noises so we had to worm the whole lot. Ducks too. Vrry messy.
