Can anyone recommend a outdoors feeder that keeps the food dry!!

I use ordinary hanging feeders, but cut a small slit in a big bucket or bin lid and thread the rope through it, then slide it down to the hanginging hook. It keeps the majority of the weather off. Bin lids are best, hot skewer will do the rope hole, and I got a couple for nowt from a supermarket because the rims were broken.

OH built a little shelter to stand the food under. Think it was made from a sheet of marine ply

I tuck an ordinary plant saucer with pellets in under the hen house and have a hanging feeder in the hen house as well for snacks in very rainy or snowy weather.

All metal 'Grandpas feeders' - totally waterproof and ratproof too!

We use home made peck feeders - a plastic barrel on legs with a peck attachment underneath. The birds peck to release what they want and the rest stays dry in the barrel. We put about half a sack of feed in at a time. We cap off the pecker bit at night though with flower pots on bungees to stop vermin trying to get at it and also the early morning pigeons and pheasants.
