  • One of my hens loves Rosie Lea

Mentioned this in another post but it is beyond a joke now!

Every time I go out in the garden to work or see to chooks, my mug of tea is sabotaged by one of my hens..

She is ex batt and the was the poorliest out the bunch when I got her, she is now fully fit but still missing her tail feathers - she also has no neck or a hump back which makes her look quite odd..

Anyhows she roams the garden like the others, but the minute my backsturned her head is in my mug of tea - i've tried putting it at height and covering it... making her one of her own... but she just loves it.

The final strawcame today when I sat on the bench with my tea next to me, she jumps up on my lap - awww I thought, how well shes doing!
Wrong! I'd been conned - she hopped once thenburied her head straight into my mug AGAIN!!!! LOL

Is tea gonna do her any harm - cosif not i'll make her a regular brew, she might bloody leave mine alone then!

    Avery dry SMOGGY..LOL

Smoggy, get yourself one of those toddler cups with the lid and drinker top. See how Mrs. Rosie Lee copes with that

I am thinking if you videoed it you'd get some money for a hump backed chicken drinking tea out of your cup! Sounds right up You've Been Framed's alley!

I would love to see video of that!

My first chooks did that. It was quite sweet to watch and the heat never seemed to bother them!

Wish I liked tea now!.....might have to take a cup to the lottie just to see if any of them fancy it!

Our two Buff Orpingtons make me laugh with food/titbits...if me,Andi or Daisy are eating they just hang around our feet waiting for the crumbs to drop. However,as soon as Ash(5)sits down with something they're up on his lap trying to grab it from him!(poor chap's not happy about it!)
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
