  • O.m.g!!!!!

earlier this afternoon, phoenix and neva started screeching, outside the back door, as they were out in the garden. i got into mad panic that it was a fox or something and couldn't find pingu anywhere ... cue mad running round trying to find her looking for feathers etc ... no sign, looked in the shed and there she was in a proper nest looking like something was going on .... anyway after i'd disturbed her she came out, but went back in and laid me a perfect approx 45g egg ... oh joy for non digital scales...... anyway small but perfectly formed, except for the end bit as she must have stood up when she laid it cos the end has a bit of a dent in it

That's cuz I said "bokbokbwarkchookbokbwark" to her when I was stroking her That meant "lay an egg tomorrow for mummy". Obviously she thought she'd get on with it sooner rather than later

Well done Pingu It was lovely to meet you and your sisters yesterday. Tell them to get a move on and all of you give Mummy more eggs

By the way Lynda, what colour shell was it?
