Betty isn't laying but i am worried as she seems a bit of colour and yesterday she squashed herself in a small area and kept dropping what looks like egg yolk but like scrambled egg.. Any ideas. SZhe came out this morning but seems very off colour..

Possibly a softie broken inside her. You might see a soft shell in the next day or so without any contents. Keep an eye on her, and give her some poultry spice in with her food just to boost her up a bit.My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there -

Sometimes part of the gut lining comes out and gets laid instead of an egg - does it look a bit like a twisted piece of meat? It's nothing to worry about, but it can make them off colour for a day or two. In any case, just keep tabs on her, make sure she's still eating and drinking and hopefully she should be perking up in a couple of days

How is she today? If she doesn't pass the rest of the egg really soon then she can go downhill quite quickly
