  • Looking forward to auction!

I'm looking forward to the rare breeds poultry auction tomorrow at Hexham!(First one I've ever beeen to) Hope you're allowed to take piccies as I have my new trusty camera at the ready. I need some galvanised feeders so may see if I can find any. Not sure about procuring chooks from auction....but.....never say never!

Well I hope they have more "rare breeds" than were at Penkridge yesterday! Orpingtons, RIR's, Welsummers, Sussex. Nothing really out of the ordinary
My girls found their way into my heart and now they nest there

It was a brilliant day out! I didn't buy anything! Much more variety than I expected and overall from what I could see the prices were much as expected.
I think it was a bit of a lottery as to what you got though? Not like buying from a friend or known breeder.
The feeders and coops and bits and bobs were making ridiculously high money though!
