In hot weather..........

If we ever get any, would it do any good to give the chooks a good hosing down?
The reason I ask is that this evening I've been hosing out the run and gave the chooks a blast to get them to go inside.

They came back out looking very bedraggled and sorry for themselves when I'd finished but a lot cleaner.

I would imagine that as well as dislodging any crud and loose feathers it would drown any creepy crawlies!

Or am I a cruel chookmaster?

I hosed mine down a couple of weeks ago when it was really hot, they have not forgiven me and every time I turn the tap on they scarper ! Saying that they are quite happy to stand in the rain and get drenched !

You have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans

I would be a perfectionist, but I dont have the time
