  • Getting used to each other

Here's some up to date pics. of the Louis my moggie finally getting used to new girls!! It's no wonder he was a bit put out really, he's been Lord and master of all he surveys and we do love him to bits. He only goes near them now when I'm feeding them or cleaning out and insists on getting in the coop to see what all the fuss is about. Which is really funny as they get all clucky and anxious.Hey Ho,Happy families!

That 3rd pic tells a story or two. He looks like he's got the devil in he's eye!

my cats are petrified on the girls, could be something to do with the fact that the girls attack the cats at any opportunity

lol, our 2 cats are in exactly the same boat since we go the chooks, the chickens don't seem to notice the cats exist whereas the cats seem to spend their day staring at the chooks in amazement. for the last few days the chooks have been let out of their run to wander where they please. anytime i'm out in the garden i now have 2 cats and 4 chickens following me about.
2 off the chooks are still a bit shy and don't like being picked up or stroked, with the exception of our 2 year old daughter who seems to have joined their gang (maybe because they are much the same size??)

still no eggs but a lot of fun
