    Early morning call

    Just as I was beginning to allow myself to think that I may just get away with keeping the cockerel that we hatched last year, the bugger decided to find his voice for the first time at 7am today!
    Looks like I'll have to try and find somewhere that will rehome him or failing that give him a hot bath in some red wine, herbs and vegetables!

    Oh dear! I know the feeling. It was so traumatic when mine started crowing a couple of winters ago and it got earlier day by day. Good luck making your decision.

      Chin up, it's hard I know( you become attached to the blighters rather quickly)

      You knew it would happen eventually. Take solace that he had a good time while he was here and that you will dispatch him humanely as possible
