  • Decisions, decisions??????????

It is blowing a hooligan here today with squally showers. The winter quarters for the Minorca's are ready for them (A hut within a hut on the end of a large greenhouse) problem is................the greenhouse (or 'run' tobe) is still full of San Marzano tomatoes which are doing rather well.
Worried about the chooks eating the leaves and poisoning them selves, but more worried about losing my bumper crop of San Marzano toms to hungry chooks!
Don't know what to do......chance leaving them where they are or chance loosing my toms?

Well............back from allotment and it must have ben the shortest duration saturday I've ever had.

Collected eggs and after weighing up the pro's and cons decided to leave well alone on the moving chooks front for the time being.

It was quite funny really as one of my large cockerels decided to open his wingspan to have a stretch in the wind and finished up getting tumbled across the run at great speed.

There was tin sheeting and polythene from ripped polytunnels being blown all over so decided discretion was the best part of valour and did a bunk!

Cleaned a few tomato plants out of one of the greenhouses before I left but the way the glass was shaking in the woodwork I decided to even give the indoor work a miss!
