She's lovely ... more colouring than a amberlink and like a brown sussex. Fantastic

I have a light Susex cockerel running with four ISA browns which I might hatch some eggs from in the spring. They would probably look similar I would think and be full of hybrid vigour I hope!

Nice looking chook hodge (please tell me it hasn't got a name?)

She looks just like my Fred who is now settled in happily with Over Wyre Grower. She was originally named Fanny. (If you want a laugh just read my desperate thread on Christmas Eve).
She looks lovely, is she very friendly?

We have 2 like that, healthy amber links. We have bred our light sussex cockerel with our hybrid brown hens and their chicks all look pure light sussex? apart from R2D2 who is magpie- black with white neck, they are all hardy, vigorous birds. We should have some nice layers and good meat birds in the spring.(i am afraid R2D2 is a boy...)
